Checking Your Internet Properties

Open up My Computer by:
  1. Double clicking on the icon called My Computer, to get the below dialogue box.

Open up Control Panel by:
  1. Double Click on the icon called Control Panel, to get the below dialogue box.
  2. Once in Control Panel, double click on the icon called the INTERNET.

You should now see Internet Properties
  1. Change the ADDRESS to read http://www.kerrlake.com/link.htm
  2. Change "Number of days to keep pages in history" to 1.

    Checking Connection in Internet Properties

  3. Click on the Connection Tab.
  4. Should have black dot in "Connect to the Internet using a modem".
  5. Everything else should be left blank.

    Setting your Start Page

  6. Click on the Programs Tab.
  7. Mail should read "Outlook Express".
  8. News should read "Outlook Express".



Once the above configurations have been verified, click on "APPLY", then "OK" your way back to your desk top.
