Checking Your Internet Properties

Open up My Computer by:
  1. Double clicking on the icon called My Computer, to get the below dialogue box.

Open up Control Panel by:
  1. Double Click on the icon called Control Panel, to get the below dialogue box.
  2. Once in Control Panel, double click on the icon called the INTERNET.

You should now see Internet Properties
  1. Click on the Connection Tab.
  2. Connect to the Internet as Needed should be checked.
  3. Use the Following Dialup Networking should say Lake Country Online.
  4. Uncheck Peform System Secruity Check Before Dialing.
  5. Leave Proxy Server BLANK

  6. Click on the Navigation Tab.
  7. Change the ADDRESS to read http://www.kerrlake.com/link.htm
  8. Change "Number of days to keep pages in history" to 1.

    Setting your Start Page



Once the above configurations have been verified, click on "APPLY", then "OK" your way back to your desk top.
