"Mom was a dedicated Mother to her children,who did all within her power to make life easier for us all.
I am very happy to have had a Father and Mother who were so very supportive of me and and who raised me to be what I am today."
4.F.Living;
Mother always said that when she died, she would go out in a storm. Her words were most prophetic! She was buried in a blizzard that hit the east coast, tagged the "storm of the century" by reporters.
A beautiful, funeral service was delivered by her Grand Niece, Nancy, a Methodist minister.
The service included family participation. Granddaughter Kelly also spoke at the service.Both girls shared their memories about Mom.
She had a natural ability to create children's stories that kept them spellbound.They spoke of the many stories , including ghost stories told by Mom on cold winter nights in Adelphia NJ.Also about making Lightning Fudge.
Mom was a school teacher and always wrote the following in students autograph books.
"When the golden sun is setting,
and your feet no longer trod,
May your name in gold be written, in the autograph of GOD."
Good-Bye Mom "MAY YOUR NAME IN GOLD BE WRITTEN, IN THE AUTOGRAPH OF GOD".
